Producido por el bajista de Metallica Robert Trujillo y dirigida por Paul Marchand y Stephen Kijac, el film incluye entrevistas con bajistas contemporaneos de Jaco y aquellos que el inspiró. Desde algunas leyendas como Bootsy Collins y Geddy Lee de Rush a Sting y Flea de Red Hot Chili Peppers. Cuenta también, la historia de Jaco con su final trágico en 1985, a la edad de 35 años.
Los dos DVDs incluyen el film completo, como asi también un extra de 30 entrevistas inéditas con músicos como Flea, Joni Mitchell y Carlos Santana.
